Jakarta, July 30, 2024 – Viera Lovienta has been officially elected as the Head of the Tourism and Culture Division of the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of Partai Perindo. Viera’s election to this strategic position is expected to bring fresh air to the development of the tourism and culture sectors in Indonesia.
In her inaugural speech, Viera expressed her commitment to advancing national tourism and preserving Indonesian culture. “Tourism and culture are two sectors with great potential to elevate Indonesia’s name on the international stage. I am determined to work hard and bring new innovations that can support the development of these two sectors,” said Viera.
Viera also revealed her plans to collaborate with various parties, including the government, private sector, and local communities, in implementing her programs. “Collaboration is key. We must work together to achieve common goals,” she added.
Moreover, Viera plans to focus on improving tourism infrastructure, developing new tourist destinations, and promoting Indonesian culture abroad. She also emphasized the importance of education and training for tourism and cultural industry players to compete in the era of globalization.
